Who we are
Hello! We’re Amanda and Graham!
We’ve been travelling to Japan since 2016, nearly on an annual basis, until 2025 when we finally decided to take the leap and move from Seattle to Sendai, in the northeastern Tohoku region.
We started Japan Sidequest with the goal of helping other travelers reach a deeper connection with Japan during their travels here, and as a place to share our experience with others!
We’ve helped a bunch of folks maximize their time in this beautiful country, and would love to help you, too!
